Lizi Gilad Silver is a first generation American who currently resides in Southern California with her husband and daughter. She has work published or forthcoming in Foundling Review, Melusine, HOOT, Poetica Magazine, Boston Literary Magazine, and Halfway Down the Stairs. She lives by Rilke’s line: let everything happen to you, the beauty and the terror. Additionally, she has worked in a carrot factory, broken her coccyx in Teotihuacan, made a life altering decision because of a fortune cookie, and believes in the power of belly laughter.
