Dresden received her B.A. in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach in 2009. Following graduation, she moved back to where she grew up– a small, agricultural region about fifteen minutes from Mexico. Since that time, she has worked in a couple different positions at the Imperial County Office of Education. Presently, she works as an Administrative Analyst for the superintendent of schools. When not working, she enjoys traveling to Mexico, camping in the desert, and being in good company under the sun, drinking cold beers. She has missed being in a creative, educational atmosphere surrounded by other writers who share the same passions. She’s excited to be writing more creatively, more professionally and more often.
